Stella Natura Biodynamic Planting Calendar is now published by Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary. As this is the first time Stella has been edited, published, and distributed all in one place, we are making a community-wide grassroots effort to share news of this transition, as we seek to unite those who value Stella Natura with the Calendar they've come to rely upon all these years. Orders of 1-9 calendars can be ordered at https://spikenardfarm.org/product/stella-natura-calendar/ (2-4 calendars = 10% off; 5-9 = 20% off). For 10+ calendars, or discounts of 30% and more, contact stellanatura@spikenardfarm.org.
Can goat horns be a suitable substitute when cow horns are not at handor readily accessible?
From Lexi:
My name is Lexi, and I am a current student at UC Berkeley. I am looking to gain some hands on experience in harvesting and wanted to reach out to see if any of the vineyards you work with could use an extra set of hands. I know we are well into harvest season but I thought I would ask in the off chance.
I am available Fridays-Sundays all day and would appreciate the opportunity to learn and contribute.

I recently purchased ~90 acres of land in Vermont and am thinking of starting a small biodynamic ag business of some sort. Does anyone have recommendations beyond the typical market garden? The land has good soil but will need clearing as it is mostly wooded. Thanks.
Does anyone have or know of goats for rent near Portland, Oregon? We’ve only found one option so far - WestSide Goat Girl - and she’s booked until 2025. We need to clear an area of approximately 50 sq ft. that’s got a lot of thistle. We are in Vernonia, Oregon about 30 miles west of Portland.
