Summer Gathering - Valerian the Phosphoric Influence and Chamomile the Assimilator of Calcium

We will gather in the gardens of Deb Soule's iconic apothecary to make the Biodynamic Valerian Preparation and to discuss the Chamomile plant. The two Biodynamic preparations that employ these flowers require quite a large amount of material so we agreed at the January meeting that anyone with the ability to sow Valerian and Chamomile seeds this Spring would do so. July and August is the time of year we will all be gathering and drying chamomile from our fields and gardens to use later for making the Biodynamic Chamomile Preparation when we gather together again in October. In late June you will receive a reminder on how to properly gather the flowers and dry them. You will also receive a list of optional readings on valerian and chamomile and I ask everyone to forward suggested readings to me either as a link to an article or a book title.
