We seek a farm manager at Lokelani 'Ohana, a 16 year old non-profit, based in Hawaiian Culture and inspired by the Camphill Movement which creates socially therapeutic programs including housing, organic gardening, and the arts for our Maui community, including adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking one more intern for the 2022 growing season! Join us on our small (2-3 acre), biodynamic farm located in Northern California and participate in all farming tasks from seed to harvest. We have a 45+ member CSA, and alongside growing veggies we make all of our own compost, BD preps, grow grains, and flowers. We also live in a semi-communal living setting in which we grow food for weekly communal meals, donations, and make value added goods. Located on a beautiful 5,000 acre ranch with access to a swimming lake and old growth redwood grove.
Against the Grain is a small-scale diversified farm located 15 minutes from downtown Boone in Zionville, NC. The farm is situated on 35-acres in the Blueridge mountains and raises a broad spectrum of certified Biodynamic and Organic vegetables on a little under 2 acres, as well as Animal Welfare Approved, GMO-free, pastured pork, beef and goat.
