Nutrition Conference Coming to Montgomery, Alabama November 11-14th
Washington, DC – August 26, 2016 -- The 17th annual Wise Traditions nutrition conference, hosted by the Weston A. Price Foundation, is headed south to Montgomery, Alabama, November 11-14.
The 6th annual Tennessee Local Food Summit is at TSU's downtown Avon Williams campus on December 2-4 this year.
Local food means many more jobs, food security, better health and revitalizing family farms.
According to Joel Salatin, "Local integrity food will enjoy a huge boost from the Tennessee Local Food Summit in December. For enthusiasm, inspiration and how-to, this is the place to be."

Jeff Poppen, known as The Barefoot Farmer, will share his extensive training in both organic and biodynamic methods of farming in a question and answer session that begins at 10 a.m. April 16 at Mansker's Station.
Mansker’s Station is located at 705 Caldwell Lane in Goodlettsville.
Poppen is owner and farm manager of Long Hungry Creek Farm, a 300-acre Consumer Supported Agriculture venture in Red Boiling Springs. If you are a follower of NPT’s “Volunteer Gardener”program, you will recognize his voice, bare feet and beard.
