We are pleased to announce that the Biodynamic Association will be hosting an online gathering from November 12-15, 2020, which will incorporate some of the elements of the in-person North American Biodynamic Conferences you have come to love, and some new elements that are only possible when we are each still at home, wherever we live, when we gather. While the full place-based experience of our past and future conferences cannot be replicated virtually, we are excited about the opportunities possible in gathering in a different way this year.

This November, look forward to inspiring keynote speakers, interactive small-group conversations, three-day themed workshops, virtual exhibits, and updates and opportunities to engage with the unification of the Biodynamic Association and Demeter USA toward the formation of the new Biodynamic Demeter Association. You can look forward to engaging with the land where you live and connecting with fellow biodynamic community members in your local region before, during, and after our online gathering.

This year, our online gathering will initiate the theme of Seeding the Spirit of Stewardship: Climate, Agriculture, and Community, which we will continue to carry together until we gather in person again in November 2021 in Westminster, Colorado. Earlier this year, our conference advisory committee had discussed the idea of a two-year theme, and the current circumstances of an online conference leading up to an in-person conference seem ripe for the longer and deeper exploration of the theme.

Scholarships are available! The North American Biodynamic Conference has never been more accessible than it is this year. We hope to be able to fully fund up to 200 scholarship participants for this dynamic and interactive online experience!

Registration will open by early October.

We look forward to gathering with you across distance!
