Bio

Malcolm Gardner trained in biology and botany and has studied anthroposophy, Goethean science, and biodynamics for over 35 years. He was the editor and co-translator of Rudolf Steiner's Spiritual Foundations for the Renewal of Agriculture (1993) and is currently working on a revised and greatly expanded second edition. At present he also works in forestry, conducts research on biodynamic and related themes, and anchors the Hudson Valley Biodynamic Group. He teaches a year-long course at the Camphill Academy in Copake, New York, on Steiner's seminal book, The Philosophy of Spiritual Activity. He is a lifelong birdwatcher and marvels every day at the beauty and wisdom of Creation.
