Philip Lyvers runs Lyvers Farm, Inc., a large-scale grain and hog operation in Loretto, Kentucky. Lyvers Farm is an operation of conventional design and size, implementing biodynamic and organic practices for 20 years. The farm is farrow to finish, raising over 9,000 market hogs a year from a closed herd with no vaccines, wormers, antibiotics, hormones or steroids.  Philip has operated the family farm for 48 years, including wildlife and woodland management with tree planting and forestry improvements on over 2,600 acres. He has gardened and homesteaded his entire life.
